The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is expected to release the IBPS PO Prelims Result 2025 in the last week of September 2025. Candidates who appeared for the Probationary Officer (PO)/Management Trainee (MT) preliminary examination will be able to check their result online at ibps.in
IBPS PO Prelims Exam 2025 Overview
- Exam Dates: August 17, 23, and 24, 2025
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Total Marks: 100
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
The IBPS PO prelims exam tests English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability, and candidates must secure both sectional cut-offs and overall cut-off to qualify for the next stage.
How to Check IBPS PO Prelims Result 2025
Follow these simple steps to download your result once it is released:
- Visit the official website – ibps.in.
- Click on the link titled “IBPS PO/MT Prelims Result 2025”.
- Enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and Password/Date of Birth.
- Click on Submit to view your result.
- Download and save a copy of the result for future reference.
After the Result: IBPS PO Mains Exam
Candidates who clear the prelims will be shortlisted for the IBPS PO Mains Exam, scheduled for October 12, 2025.
The mains exam will test:
- Reasoning & Computer Aptitude
- General/Economy/Banking Awareness
- English Language
- Data Analysis & Interpretation
Given the short gap between prelims result and mains exam, candidates are advised to start their mains preparation immediately.
